Karla Vasquez is originally from Sonora, Mexico and grew up and attended school in Tucson, Arizona. Karla has been in many different childhood development roles in various capacities for the past 14 years and over that time developed a particular passion for the first and second grade levels. This passion is fueled by the natural curiosity and inquisitiveness of the age group. Being fluently bilingual in both English and Spanish makes her perfectly equipped to instruct Spanish as a foreign language to her students. Outside of school, Karla enjoys painting, dancing and traveling as well as outdoor activities including hiking, fishing and skiing.
