Campus & Facilities
Located where New Hampshire meets Massachusetts, our campus sits directly on the Nashua, NH-Dunstable, MA town line, just a short drive from Hollis, NH.
SNA’s 39-acre campus uniquely straddles the Nashua, NH and Dunstable, MA state line, bordering 700 acres of protected conservation land. Once an 18th-century dairy farm, our grounds now serve as a living laboratory of fields, forests, and ponds designed for exploration and play.

We don't just teach sustainability; we live it. Our property features:
-
Award-Winning Green Buildings: Home to the first LEED Platinum non-residential building in NH, featuring geothermal heating and solar power.
-
Healthy Learning Spaces: High-performance, toxin-free environments that maximize natural light and air quality for student wellness.
-
Outdoor Adventures: A low-ropes challenge course, hiking trails, organic gardens, and a saltwater pool.
-
A Working Farm: Students engage with our animal barn, fruit orchards, and berry brambles.
At SNA, the campus is the curriculum. From renewable energy and earth science to nutrition and ecology, our students use their surroundings every day to develop critical thinking and a deep connection to the natural world.
The 2nd Nature Academy water system participates in a program at the N.H. Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) that requires the water supplier to implement a source protection program to prevent drinking water sources from becoming contaminated. Please find our most recent notice to our neighboring properties that are located in the Source Water Protection Area (SWPA) for this water system, as delineated by the NHDES, at the button below.
