2nd Nature Academy (SNA) is seeking a reliable and energetic After School Leader to join our team. If you're looking for a rewarding afternoon role that fits seamlessly around your classes or personal schedule, we want to hear from you!
In this part-time role, you will guide elementary and middle school students through engaging indoor/outdoor after school programming. It’s the perfect environment to gain great experience, build connection, and work alongside a collaborative team of educators.
Schedule: Approximately 3:15-5:45 pm, M-F (full week or shared shift schedule available)
Responsibilities & Duties
Nurture & Guide: Provide safe, nurturing care and positive leadership for elementary and middle school students.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively in a team atmosphere, taking direction from lead teachers and administration.
Maintain a Safe Space: Help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of your classroom, program spaces, and the broader center.
Uphold Standards: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding students, families, and center personnel.

Maturity & Experience: Demonstrates strong personal responsibility, emotional maturity, and prior experience in childcare or youth leadership settings.

Schedule Compatability: Has consistent afternoon and evening availability, along with access to reliable transportation. Perfect for those seeking steady, part-time afternoon/early evening hours that align with academic or personal schedules.
Reliability: Is safety-minded, punctual, and a dependable team player with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Qualifications
Core Skills: Strong communication skills and a propensity to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Integrity: Proven ability to maintain professionalism and student confidentiality.
Experience: Prior experience working with elementary or middle school children is preferred.
Certifications: CPR Certification is a plus!
