Camp Lovewell at 2nd Nature Academy is seeking several positions for its summer day camp program:

  • Camp counselors (general)

  • Drama specialist

  • Low ropes/team building specialist (training provided as needed)

  • Lifeguard

All roles are perfect for individuals who enjoy working with kids and have a love of the outdoors! 

  • General counselor duties include camper supervision, assisting other staff members, enthusiastic participation in camp-wide activities. 

  • Specialist duties require planning and implementation of related specialty activities, camper supervision, and enthusiastic participation in camp-wide activities.

  • Lifeguard duties include following all camp and safety guidelines to ensure safe swimming/water activities at our saltwater pool and a freshwater pond, including kayaking supervision.

Requirements

  • Drama specialist: Experience in drama/performing arts

  • Lifeguard: Certification from a nationally-recognized organization, such as American Red Cross

  • Low Ropes/Team Building specialist: Current low ropes certification is preferred. However, we are willing to train.
