WHO IS THE IDEAL CANDIDATE?

The Academy (K-12)

SNA welcomes creative learners who are inquisitive, explorative, and collaborative problem-solvers. We expect our students to strive for excellence and positively contribute to the school community, as well as their home communities, at large. A 2nd Nature student should be a well-rounded individual who is willing to take risks, learn from failures, and accept feedback.

are committed to living and learning through social justice, as well as embracing our diversity, equity, and inclusion values.

2nd Nature Academy (SNA) is a diverse learning community built on a foundation of mutual respect, however it is not a special education or therapeutic school. Our educational team strives to make all reasonable accommodations for students with learning differences. Students with IEPs or 504 plans are welcome to apply. These plans will be carefully evaluated and discussed during the application process to determine if appropriate accommodations can be made to meet individual needs. Our goal is to create a positive learning environment which benefits all students enrolled. If you would like to discuss your child’s individual learning needs, please contact our admissions office.

Our current and newly admitted student body includes local residents of southern New Hampshire and the Merrimack Valley (NH/MA), as well as international students from Spain, India, China, and Qatar.
