in loving memory of
Ann M. Francke
June 19, 1961 - June 17, 2020

Wear blue during the Memorial Ride, in honor of Ann and her favorite color!
Formerly known as the Rollathon, our annual Memorial Ride is one of our longest running service learning project traditions at SNA. Each year, we have raised donation funds via student sponsorship for the Dartmouth Cancer Center (formerly known as the Norris Cotton Cancer Center). However, in 2022, our event took on a new focus by celebrating the life of our former Director of Operations, Ann M. Francke, who passed away on June 17, 2020 after a brief and difficult battle with brain cancer. For those who did not know her, Ann is our cherished friend, family member, and SNA educator.
Over the course of her career, Ann touched the lives of innumerable children and the mark she left on our community is indelible. Ann was not simply a fixture on campus; she was SNA’s backbone for 20 years. We remember Ann through her love of hockey, hot air ballooning, and rising before the sun. When we visit lighthouses on the beach, enjoy a cold beer by the grill, or think of unicorns, it is Ann who springs to mind.
The legacy Ann leaves behind at SNA lives on in the impact she had on the lives of so many children. We invite the many students who knew Ann to hold her in their hearts as they participate in the annual Memorial Ride.
We ride to honor Ann's memory.
