Jacy Mikenas has been working in education since she was 15 and has always found joy and passion for it. Working with a wide variety of age ranges from varying backgrounds, Jacy has loved it all, as she herself loves to learn and is constantly doing so through her students, experience, and each educational endeavor pursued. She feels particularly passionate about working in special education, meeting each child where they are at, and building rapport and relationships with her students. While still pursuing her degree, and simply unable to pick a single preferred age group, her goal is to be dual-certified in special education as well as a school guidance counselor. In her free time, Jacy enjoys going to the beach, spending time outside, reading a good book, watching a good series, and spending time with friends and family.
