If you’ve entered the Nature’s Pathways building recently, you may have noticed a new artistic display in the entrance. This installation is the most visible part of the 100th Day of School celebrations at SNA, a collection of student artwork including displays of 100 Pokemon cards, popsicle sticks, flags, fuzz balls, and even words. These artworks come from individual students and also from collaborations within and between classes.

This and other 100th Day celebrations were spearheaded by Mrs. Lopez, the EK/K teacher. When asked about her goal for these projects, she said, “This event really came from a desire to bring our entire school together in a meaningful way. I wanted something that would allow every student, regardless of age, to contribute and feel seen.” The importance of these celebrations for our school community cannot be overstated. As Mrs. Lopez put it, “Celebrating 100 days of school this way feels powerful because it reminds us that while each student is unique, together we create something beautiful.”
