SNA “Wave Goodbye to Winter” Carnival
On March 22nd, SNA held its “Wave Goodbye to Winter” Carnival. The school community came together to play games, eat delicious food, and partake in raffles. SNACC, the Second Nature Academy Community Committee, organized this event, and many high school and upper-elementary volunteers helped run it. The Sounds of Cambodia
On February 20th, a Cambodian band of musicians came to SNA to perform for students and teachers. The band consisted of six members, including Dr. Alan Williams, a professor from UMass Lowell, who discussed the history of Cambodian music with the students. Teacher Spotlight: Getting to Know Ms. Hill
Last year, SNA welcomed a new 3rd/4th grade teacher, Ms. Narissa Hill, to the teaching staff, and she has quickly become a valued member of the school community. She graduated from the University of Scranton in 2024 where she earned a degree in Early and Primary Education. End 68 Hours of Hunger Food Drive
On the 21st of February, students and teachers from SNA teamed up with the organization End 68 Hours of Hunger to support children in the community who struggle with food insecurity. Together, they organized a food drive outside of Shaw’s in Nashua and spent the morning asking shoppers to purchase items from a donation list.
