On March 22nd, SNA held its “Wave Goodbye to Winter” Carnival. The school community came together to play games, eat delicious food, and partake in raffles. SNACC, the Second Nature Academy Community Committee, organized this event, and many high school and upper-elementary volunteers helped run it. This was a great opportunity for families and friends to socialize and talk to other members of the school community.
“The Wave Goodbye to Winter Carnival was a great success! SNACC was thrilled to welcome families across both Nature's Pathways and SNA, as well as high school volunteers. This event was designed to allow families to have a chance to socialize in a laid-back setting, and we believe that was achieved,” said Kerry Gleeson, Communications for SNACC. There was a face-painting station along with a magician who made balloon animals for everyone. Additionally, a group of high school Language Arts students also set up a jewelry-selling table to raise money for the organization NH Outright, a nonprofit group that supports LGBTQ+ at-risk youth. Over two hundred dollars was raised in support of this organization. Finally, raffle prizes, including a TV and an iPhone, were awarded at the end of the event. Overall, this event was a great success and fun for people of all ages. Thanks to everyone who helped wave goodbye to winter with us.
