Issue #3 (Dec 2025)

This month The Newstonian staff is excited to shine a light on the work of Miss Megan Sweeney, SNA’s Music teacher whose passion for music and teaching has brought energy and creativity to our school. 

This year upper school students are taking an elective called Exploring Diversity. The main goal of this class is to celebrate diversity and to understand its importance in our society. Throughout the semester, students worked on personal projects that celebrated their identities and what makes them unique. 

Last November, during Thanksgiving break, my family and I got the opportunity of a lifetime to visit the cities of Mecca and Medina.

On Saturday, November 22nd, SNA students in grades 6-12 gathered at the Lawrence Barn in Hollis, New Hampshire for the school's annual homecoming dance.

On Sunday, November 30th, SNA hosted a celebration of life for Ali Pearson, a beloved teacher and staff member who passed away from cancer in November. Family members, friends, colleagues, and students gathered in the Great Room of the daycare building to commemorate her life, and multiple people spoke during the celebration to honor her and the positive impact she had on the community and everyone around her.
