On March 22nd, SNA held its “Wave Goodbye to Winter” Carnival. The school community came together to play games, eat delicious food, and partake in raffles. SNACC, the Second Nature Academy Community Committee, organized this event, and many high school and upper-elementary volunteers helped run it. On the 21st of February, students and teachers from SNA teamed up with the organization End 68 Hours of Hunger to support children in the community who struggle with food insecurity. Together, they organized a food drive outside of Shaw’s in Nashua and spent the morning asking shoppers to purchase items from a donation list. Over the past few weeks, Ms. Mariona’s High School Service Learning class and Mrs. Chiccino’s High School ELA class have been working on multiple projects to raise money for different organizations. Last semester’s Service Learning class volunteered at the Nashua Soup Kitchen, and they collected items to donate to people in need of clothes and basic necessities.

On December 18th, 2025, SNA high school service learning students took a trip to spend a few hours volunteering at the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter (NSKS), located on 2 Quincy Street in downtown Nashua. This is the second year SNA students spent time volunteering at the shelter, and after such a positive community experience last year, they decided to do it again.

Every year, on November 11th, the students and staff at SNA honor our nation’s veterans. This year’s festivities were fun, educational, and interactive.

On October 1, 2025, SNA had its own water walk, raising $3,107 for building wells in rural Nigeria.
