Student Spotlight

For the second year in a row, our school has managed the peculiar feat of asking for applications to join student government and receiving exactly enough to fill each position. The staff of The Newstonian would like to congratulate the following new and returning members of this year’s SNA Student Government.

Big congrats to sophomore Mackenzie Wilkins who recently earned top recognition in the Allsides Student Journalism Contest, a national competition that challenged students to analyze a current event from all sides or perspectives.

The race for the 2nd Nature Academy student government presidency took place this month, with presidential and vice presidential candidates Angus Granahan and Mackenzie Wilkins and Ainsley White and Rachael Hanlon campaigning to become the 2025-2026 school president and vice president.
