On the 21st of February, students and teachers from SNA teamed up with the organization End 68 Hours of Hunger to support children in the community who struggle with food insecurity. Together, they organized a food drive outside of Shaw’s in Nashua and spent the morning asking shoppers to purchase items from a donation list. The list included canned foods, mac and cheese boxes, granola bars, crackers, and fruit snacks. Students and teachers explained the purpose of the food drive to customers, handed out lists, and made sure to thank everyone who contributed. Throughout the event, the group showed strong teamwork. Students guided the conversations, while teachers brought energy and confidence to those reaching out. Their efforts created a positive atmosphere that encouraged people to give. By the end of the shifts, the food drive had collected 50 bags worth of food. These donations will go directly to local children who rely on weekend meal support. For SNA students, the experience was more than just a school activity; it was a chance to make a real difference. Students learned how community service can impact others, and teachers were proud to see their students step up with maturity and compassion. The event showed how powerful it can be when a school community works together. Thanks to the dedication of both students and teachers, many children will have the food they need to get through the weekend.
