Mrs. Pearson will be remembered not only as an educator, but as a mentor, advocate, and a friend.

Every year, on November 11th, the students and staff at SNA honor our nation’s veterans. This year’s festivities were fun, educational, and interactive. 

On Wednesday, October 19th, K-12 classes gathered in the gym for a presentation from Wildlife Encounters, a New Hampshire based organization that brings live animals to schools to teach students about wildlife through interactive experiences.

Día de los Muertos , or Day of the Dead, is a holiday where friends and families come together to celebrate loved ones who have passed away. This holiday originated in Mexico and is traditionally celebrated from November 1st to November 2nd. Ofrendas, or altars consisting of photographs and other mementos, are assembled in people’s homes to remember their loved ones who have died. The purpose of an ofrenda is to help welcome the spirits of the deceased home.  SNA's ofrenda

The race for the 2nd Nature Academy student government presidency took place this month, with presidential and vice presidential candidates Angus Granahan and Mackenzie Wilkins and Ainsley White and Rachael Hanlon campaigning to become the 2025-2026 school president and vice president.

On the morning of Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, students, staff, parents, and SNA community members gathered together at Mine Falls Park for a 5k fundraiser organized on behalf of Mrs. Pearson.

It is with mixed emotions that we bid Ryan Slate a fond farewell. After working for years at SNA, Mr. Ryan has decided to pursue a new and exciting career in the trades.

October was Mental Health Awareness Month! To celebrate, 2nd Nature Academy students organized several activities and events.

The SNA Cross Country team has come a long way this season growing in both focus and dedication.

For the first time in many years, the 2nd Nature Academy Fall Festival returned with a bang last Saturday, bringing joy to those who had never experienced it before and also to those who remembered its greatness.
